The Jacket Sets the Presence

A note from Nedo Bellucci, founder of NEDOIR
A jacket frames a man. It shapes how he carries himself, how he enters a room, and how prepared he feels for whatever follows.
Research on how clothing shapes perception, more than twenty years in bespoke menswear, and nearly ten years teaching at university have all taught me the same thing: a well-fitted, well-proportioned jacket builds a man's confidence, and changes how others perceive him. A great jacket does not simply cover the body. It must be designed to enhance it, giving any build a stronger, more athletic silhouette.
Throughout my career, I have reimagined familiar menswear forms through proportion, fabric, detail and purpose. Long before a piece was cut, I could see the silhouette it should create. NEDOIR was born to bring that vision to more men.
The problem with most jackets
Finding a jacket that truly fits has never been easy.
Off the rack rarely fits well. Standard sizes are built for an average body that very few men actually have, so the shoulders pull, the waist hangs loose, or the sleeves miss. And when you can picture exactly the piece you want, it is almost never available, or it doesn't fit you.
Then there is sameness. Most jackets look alike, with no personalization and no detail that is yours. You end up wearing what the store had, not what you had in mind.
What the right proportions do
A jacket with the right proportions does something remarkable: it gives any body type a stronger, more athletic silhouette. The shoulders read broader, the waist cleaner, the line more natural. And with it comes confidence. The jacket designs your presence.
That is what every NEDOIR piece is designed to do, without the many fittings of traditional tailoring, and for the way we dress today: a little more relaxed, still precise. Each piece is designed for a different moment of your week: the formal ease of NEAPOLIS, the signature DOGMA blouson, the casual elegance of the VOLO bomber, CORSA, the modern coat, and VESTO, the vest that completes the look.
A jacket that is truly yours
Every NEDOIR piece is made to order, one at a time, and made yours:
- Your name on the interior label, with your piece number and the date it was made
- Your lining, chosen from eleven signature linings
- Your details: more sporty with a trimmed knit finish, or more refined, closer to a coat
Size No More
Once you order your first piece, your best size is saved. I call it Size No More. From then on, you simply choose the piece you like, and the sizing step disappears. And if your first piece in a collection doesn't fit as it should, we review it with you and make it right.
Luxury, without the middlemen
True luxury comes with a price, and much of that price usually goes to the people between the maker and you. NEDOIR is direct to you. There is no wholesaler and no retail markup, only the piece and the craft behind it.
That matters most where quality is decided. Take construction. A NEAPOLIS jacket is fully canvassed: a floating canvas between the fabric and the lining that shapes to your chest over time, holds its line, and lasts for years. Most jackets are fused or half-canvassed, which is cheaper to make, and you feel the difference in how they sit, drape and age. Full canvas has always been expensive. Selling direct is how we make it attainable.
A jacket is an investment. How it fits, how it holds and how long it lasts are the measure of its quality.
See it before it exists
Today, technology makes it possible to see your jacket before it is made. Choose the piece, select the fabric and lining, personalize the details, and visualize it, then we make it, only for you.
See it. Choose it. Make it yours.

FAQ
A few answers before you choose.
What is a full canvas jacket?
A fully canvassed jacket has a floating layer of canvas between the outer fabric and the lining, running through the whole front. It shapes to your chest over time, holds its line and lasts longer than a fused jacket.
Is full canvas better than fused?
For fit and longevity, yes. Fused jackets glue the layers together, which is cheaper but stiffer, and can bubble or lose shape over time. Half canvas sits in between. NEAPOLIS jackets are fully canvassed.
What is Neapolitan tailoring?
Bellucci Napoli's Neapolitan tailoring is a tradition from Naples known for a soft, natural shoulder, a lighter construction and an ease of movement that still looks precise. NEAPOLIS jackets are made in Naples in that tradition.
Does NEDOIR offer bespoke or made-to-measure tailoring?
Neither. NEDOIR pieces are made to order in 29 precise sizes, with your name, lining and details, and no fittings needed. For made-to-measure or fully bespoke tailoring with personal fittings, Nedo Bellucci's atelier, Bellucci Napoli, offers both.
How does a made-to-order jacket fit without fittings?
NEDOIR's 2-minute fit guide recommends one of 29 sizes. Your best size is then saved for every future order (Size No More), and your first piece in each collection is covered by our fit guarantee.
How can a jacket make you look more athletic?
Proportion. A well-designed shoulder line, a cleaner waist and the right length create a stronger, more balanced silhouette on any body type.
